Fall Lacrosse League
Miles for Smiles offers a range of services, including:
* Dental cleanings
* Fillings
* Caps
* Other dental procedures
How It Works:
Miles for Smiles visits our school every six months. Students will be called out of class on the scheduled day to have their cleaning on the dental bus. If a student needs additional services, such as a filling or cap, Miles for Smiles will contact the student's parent directly to discuss next steps.
Participation is optional. If you would like your child to be seen, you can either:
* Fill out the consent form that will be sent home with students tomorrow.
* Visit the Miles for Smiles website directly at www.milesforsmiles.com.
Back to School Night is TONIGHT! You will rotate through your student's classes to learn the expectations.
Please enter through the carline side of the school.
While following their child's schedules, parents will go to their non PE elective at the appropriate time.
Class Times are as follows:
5:30-5:40 First Block
5:40-5:45 Transition
5:45-5:55 Second Block
5:55-6:00 Transition
6:00-6:10 Third Block
6:10-6:15 Transition
6:15-6:25 Fourth Block
6:25-6:30 Transition
6:30-6:40 Fifth Block
6:40-6:45 Transition
6:45-7:00 All parents report to the gym for closing remarks from Mr. Warren
Please remember this is not a time for parent teacher conferences. If you need to meet with your child's teacher, please schedule a conference.

Volleyball: We have two away volleyball games this week. Our Lady Bucs would love for you to cheer them on while they battle Rusheon Middle School on Monday and Cope Middle School on Thursday. 6th grade games begin at 5 pm. Coaches: Coach Hunt, Coach Morris, and Coach Glaze
Back to School Night is Tuesday. Parents are encouraged to attend this event at HMS. It begins at 5:30 in your child's first period class. You will follow your child's schedule and rotate classes to learn more about the expectations of each class. Students are not required to attend with parents. If your child does come with you, he/she will need to stay with you throughout the event. Please note this is note a time for parent teacher conferences. You will need to schedule those meetings with your teachers.
7th Grade Girls' Basketball tryouts will be Tuesday, August 26 from 2:45 - 4:30. Please contact Coach Hunt or Coach Morris for more information.

Info: Lil Bucs Cheer Clinic will be Saturday, August 30 from 9am -12 noon. The clinic is open to all students pre-K through fifth grade. The cost is $35. The HMS Cheerleaders will teach proper cheer technique for motions and jumps. The participants will also learn a cheer, several chants, and a dance! They’ll be invited to cheer with HMS cheerleaders at our first HMS HOME FOOTBALL GAME against the Benton Tigers on 9/15. You must register before Wednesday 8/20 to receive your T-shirt!
